WHO ARE CHRIS AND DANA PAPE?
One part video producer, one part military officer = truly unique and remarkable real estate team!
The Papemore Team:
Papemore Real Estate at Coldwell Banker is the husband-wife team of Chris and Dana Pape, licensed real estate brokers and REALTORS® of North Carolina. Chris and Dana specialize in the residential market surrounding Lake Norman (LKN) and the Charlotte metro area. They hold special designations as Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and are Preferred Brokers with USAA and Navy Federal Credit Union.
After dozens of military relocations, they understand the process (and emotional stress) associated with buying and selling real estate. With a proven track record of success, they’ve sold over $15 million of real estate since 2018 and are ranked as one of Coldwell Banker’s Top Teams in the area. Papemore sets themselves apart with their background and experience as an award-winning video and marketing producer and a retired military officer.
With this unique combination, they work seamlessly to ensure you the perfect mix of creativity and structure required for a successful real estate transaction. They are well-connected in the community, they understand the real estate market and they love what they do!
PAPEMORE GIVES BACK TO VETERANS:
After honorably serving over 20 years in the military, Chris and Dana continue to serve their community—especially as they give back to fellow veterans and their families.
If you’re currently serving, honorably separated or retired, Chris and Dana would like to thank you for your service by giving you a portion of their commission at closing. They extend this appreciation whether you are buying, selling or both.
Dana served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years in both the enlisted and officer ranks. Making the industry leap from a successful military leader to real estate professional has been a seamless transition as she thrives on operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Dana balances her love of real estate with exploring the surrounding area’s wide variety of restaurants, festivals and enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset over Lake Norman with Chris. With her deeply-rooted appreciation for our nation’s military she founded, “LKN Vets & Patriots.” With this initiative, Dana’s goal is to connect and bring recognition to LKN veterans and to those that proudly support them. Dana also serves as a Board member for the local non-profit organization, Welcome Home Veterans at Richard’s Coffee Shop in Mooresville.
Chris is a five-time recipient of the Telly Award, a premier distinction honoring the finest in film and video production and outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials. As a military spouse, his exposure to frequent cross-country moves and buying/selling their own homes sparked his interest in the real estate industry. Taking notes along the way, Chris gleaned the traits of outstanding REALTORS® and learned first-hand how important a steady stream of communication between agent and client was to the success of every deal.
Not one to shy away from an obstacle, Chris quickly adapted to new surroundings and jobs, and eagerly embraced the challenges as a military spouse. However, with the military’s predominant spouse population being female, he recognized a need to bring a male perspective into the spotlight. Chris paused his own profession in video production and founded, “Macho Spouse,” an online resource and informational hub for male military spouses. In both 2014 and 2015, Chris was recognized as the Air Force Spouse of the Year for his significant contribution to military families and veterans.
During his down time, Chris enjoys playing handball (think racquetball, but without the racquet). He also enjoys spending time with Dana whether it’s boating, kayaking or sampling the beers of the local breweries.
Chris and Dana enjoy hanging out with their dog, Norman, aptly named after the #1 reason they decided to relocate and call Lake Norman their “forever home!” Norman, a Lab-mix rescue puppy from Lancaster Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LSPCA), enjoys swimming in the lake and chasing the neighborhood squirrels!
